The GENERAL CHEMICAL APPLICATIONS company is active in the fields of Healthcare Facilities Hazardous Waste (HFHW) management and the express transportation of blood, plasma and biological materials. It has licenses and specially licensed and certified transport vehicles.
GENERAL CHEMICAL APPLICATIONS is a limited liability company (LLC), headquartered in Patras (K. Palama & Solonos Street - Agios Vasileios Riou) and was founded on 2/7/1998 (Government Gazette 5191/2.7.1998).
GENERAL CHEMICAL APPLICATIONS is a well-established company in its field and its clientele includes, primarily, public hospitals, administrative and health regions, local government organizations, clinics, private medical centers, laboratories and research institutions. Our company continuously invests in the development of the above activities and currently has ongoing project contracts with a budget of over €2,000,000.00.

The company employs 24 people, in addition to the partners:
- 6 people in the Hazardous Waste Management department.
- 12 people in the Biological Materials Courier department.
- 6 people in the Quality Management, Secretariat, Accounting, Sales, Procurement and Maintenance departments.
Human resources
The staff of GENERAL CHEMICAL APPLICATIONS, which staffs the collection and transport department of HFHW and the courier department of biological materials, is continuously trained both in health and safety issues and in the actual work subject, depending on the specialty of each employee, ensuring the quality of the services provided and a safer working environment.
The drivers of the vehicles are trained and certified according to ADR for the transport of dangerous goods and work exclusively at GENERAL CHEMICAL APPLICATIONS, with a full-time and dependent employment relationship, while on an annual basis a preventive medical - clinical laboratory check-up of the personnel is carried out.
In addition to the special certification of the drivers, regular training of the personnel is carried out by a certified Safety Technician as well as by a certified ADR Safety Advisor for the Transport of Dangerous Goods (SAMEE), with whom our company has concluded a special contract.
